Having seen many positive comments on Facebook on this dentist, I brought my mom to fix her dentures.

I'd give the whole experience a 1 star for the below reasons:

- the doctor is oversubscribed and has limited time for each patient. Many patients are waiting outside when my mom came to get her dentures (we also waited 20mins past our time) and the doctor didn't even wait for my very old mom to learn how to put it or take out her dentures. He told us to go home and figure it out, and come back if we have any issue. So my mom complained she couldn't get her dentures out for days, she was all worked out, sweaty and crying, and finally when it's out, she didn't put it in again. Also, to come back to fit the denture, the doctor's slots are full, we had to wait for another week. After another week, and another failed fitting, to book a third slot to fit the denture (this is my third time taking leave during office hour to take my mom to the clinic), i asked if they could either give me a slot at 9am weekdays or anytime weekend. I was told its full for the month. I asked can my mom see another doctor or even an intern recent grad whatever thats fine and they said 'other doctors might have charges ya'. ?

Also, can't say much about the skills of the doctor because we have had 2 failed fittings, however I'm not sure if this common in the industry.

Besides, during our earlier appointment, we asked what's the end-to-end charges, and the doctor quoted a charge with a receipt. During a subsequent appointment, he charged us an extra of about 400 and said this wasn't discovered during the first assessment. I didn't think my mom's tooth deteriorated so badly within 2 weeks or the examination, including the x-ray we took during week 1 didn't reveal the problem. But the doctor said yeah this is the charges and its all down to communication issue and I choose to trust them on their explanations. 

People are nice and chatty. The environment is decent. The service, competency and communications are questionable.
