PERKESO have launched the Employment Retention Program (ERP).



The Employment Retention Program (ERP) is an immediate grant of RM600 per month to employees who are requested to leave without pay due to Covid-19.

The program by PERKESO aims to help employers affected by Covid-19 who have to taken steps to reduce their operating costs with the approach of issuing unpaid leave notice.

What are the eligibility requirements for receiving the ERP?

- The ERP covers all private sector employees who have registered with the SIP, including those who have contributed to the SIP.
- Limited to monthly incomes for employees of RM4,000 and below.
- Employers who announced unpaid leave for contributing staffs (notice issued to employees for a period beginning March 1, 2020).
