I went to this dental clinic last week on 21 December 2014 (Sunday) and I was there for annual check-up and did the dental cleaning (scale and polish). This dental clinic is superb I would say. Since 2010, I went to various dental clinics to do the same thing (check-up and cleaning) and finally I found this one. Let me try to be as detailed as possible in this testimonial because I know when it comes to dental clinic, many people out there will start to have a lot of questions.This is my first time visiting this dental clinic. The nurses were so friendly when I first walked in. One of them was like smiling all the times whenever she spoke to me or when I asked questions. I am required to fill in a registration form since that was my first time. Then I was seated at the waiting area which is very nicely decorated. The floor is nice with a nice sofa and TV, showing HBO movie (Pacific Rim) from Astro. The air-conditioning level is just nice, not too cold, not too hot. The nice helper then called me and I saw the friendly lady dentist, all ready to help me. She is very friendly, she greeted me and even asked if I had lunch. She is very dedicated to her work as when she asked me if I had lunch, I can hear her stomach growling in hungry as it was 2.30PM that time. There is NO pain at all when she did the check-up for me, so don't worry! Then, she is very honest to tell me, there was a crack at one of my teeth but she did not recommend to do the filling as it will definitely come off since the crack is not due to bad tooth. She said she does want me to waste money doing the filling which will come off soon. She instead asked me to wash that tooth properly and it should not be a problem. Then, she asked me if I am feeling hot as the nurses turned off the air-conditioning as they were all cold (it rained in Penang continuously for weeks) but actually I am feeling all nice, so I said I am OK. She started to do the cleaning and polishing for me. Normally when we do the cleaning, it will bleed a bit or feel a bit pain, but this one, totally no bleeding and no pain! Oh ya, one thing super nice is, I am watching Pacific Rim on the TV while getting my teeth examining and cleaned. There is TV in the dental room as well. From time to time, the dentist will ask me if I am comfortable or pain. After that, I asked her a lot of questions and she answered me one by one and even show me the right way to brush my teeth. She recommended me to use certain toothbrush that suits me and when I asked her about mouth gargle, she honestly again, told me, it is not necessary for me as my teeth is in good condition. Normally, everyone will try to hard-sell you all the products but she is good and honest, only recommend the necessary things only and would tell you what are not necessary. Then, I went out to wait for the payment. Since I am going to be detailed, I saw one of the nurses went into the washroom and she went out, to my surprise, she washed her hand according to the instruction given. She did not just simply wash but using soap, rubbing both hand, back and forth. I would say that this dental is excellent in cleanliness and hygiene. Again, all the nurses keep on smiling and entertain to all sort of my questions and requests as I was getting some products from them as well. Their products are actually cheaper compared to other dental clinics that I went before. Everything seems to be perfect for me for first-time visiting this dental.
I am afraid to visit dental clinic actually but this one made me so comfortable that I don't feel afraid or stress out or worry being cheated for high prices. I would recommend this clinic to both children and adults because they are very friendly. No pain, no nothing, except excellent services. I think everyone in this clinic is very friendly and know well on how to handle patients. Cleanliness Number 1 as well.
