Avulsed tooth after a tramatic experience .

For starters: Do NOT panic. Do NOT clean the tooth even if it is covered with dirt; do NOT rinse it with water.

Store the tooth in fresh or low-fat milk (but NOT formula milk); alternatively, it can be stored in saline solution for up to an hour. In the worst case scenario, if you don't have saline or milk on hand, store it in saliva. Again, do NOT store it in water.
Proceed to the nearest dental clinic along with the tooth, and your dentist will know what to do.
